Focus: Second Foundation / Exercises 11 - 12 (Sati-)

Last night was Nuit Blanche. All-night community art event in our dear city of Toronto. It involved art (of course), dancing, an eco- bus, impromptu sidewalk reclaiming, more dancing, and fun. It also involved getting home at quarter to five in the a m.

Decided to read the MY chapter on the second foundation. Lil' refresher on the focus...

Sitting with sleepiness. Body fatigue and soreness from too little sleep and lots of dancing. Fidgeting dominated the sit. Discomfort in the body and really subtle fidgeting to lean away from the sensations. Leaning forward, leaning back, tuck the tailbone, lift the chest. Happening naturally... and then "oop"... awareness. All that said, it was fun. Quiet. Nice to be practicing.
