Bron free.

Yep. Taiwan. The land of fancy dress-up skull scarves, hair ties with any number of bizarre plastic shapes on them, and typos that make you giggle. Now let us sit down and have a philosophical debate about whether one is bron free or not. What is freedom, anyways? Ah ha haaaaa...
Just so you know: Halloween DID happen in Taiwan. Specifically at the yoga studio where I spend many of my days... um... teaching yoga. Right. I arrived to teach my classes, expecting it to be just another day. In fact, I was just a tad bit grumpy (you can confirm with Ryan... ah haa). But what did I behold but costumes, decorations and candy abound. And let me tell you, if you're in need of cheering up a nicole, then Halloween will do it!
... vegan rice pudding will do it too. Yup yup. Nice segue, don't ya' think? Smooth nicole, smooth. I made THE MOST amazing rice pudding today... for breakfast... all by myself. Made the recipe up and everything. It went a lil' something like this:
3 cups brown rice (cooked), 1 can of coconut milk, 2 pears, 1 banana, cinnamon, raisons, 1/4" ginger, honey (to taste). Mix in a saucepan the cocunut milk, cinnamon, honey, 2 pears cored/peeled and grated, 1 banana peeled and grated, ginger grated, raisens. Bring to a simmer. Add cooked rice. Reduce heat, simmer and stir. DONE.
I also made a curried vegetable stew this evening... out of whatever was left over in my fridge. It seems to be quite enjoyable. Kept me from being bored and watching too much tv. Little known fact: cutting vegetables is better than watching television. Cooking is good meditation. Eh voila!
I do believe that is all that is happening at the moment. Maybe. Other new things: 5 days to Thailand. And 13 hours time difference between home(you) and Taiwan. Fall back, and such. Love you. xx. -n.
***Ryan and I just went and saw An Inconvenient Truth. I will discuss later... but in the meantime, check out this link and then watch the movie! Please please.
