I suppose it's about time for my weekly update. I feel as though I have been particularly busy, but can't seem to think of what it is I've been doing...

I have started practicing Ashtanga yoga. Mysore practice around 6 or 7 in the morning. I'm not as devoted an Ashtangi as I should be (though who's to say what I should or should not be...)... the schedule is to practice every morning except Saturdays and Moon days. But I've only managed every other day. I'm not sure if my wee lil' body could handle more. We shall see...

Needless to say, the waking up early in the morning means going to bed EARLY. Well not super early... but earlier than the 1 or 2 AM that was the previous norm. This seems to severely disrupt my communication with home. I'm sure you've noticed. If you go to bed around 11PM and wake up early but are busy busy until 12:30PM... well it doesn't leave that large of a window to call home at a decent hour. Though the computer WAS taking over my life... it seems to have loosened its grip as of late. I'm sure we'll figure out some sort of system. If you think of something, let me know.

This one day off thing is starting to get me down. Not in a big way or anything... but I'm finding it difficult to get to the "routine things" in life. I am spending much of my free time doing daily meditation, 20 minute savasana (for my final Moksha project), dying meditation, practicing yoga... with that daily routine, plus teaching 6 days per week... I just don't have time to shave my legs, pluck my eyebrows, study my Yoga History and Philosophy course, reply to emails, etc. It is making me a tad bit crazy.

Complain complain complain.

Our first Teacher Practice was on Thursday. Yay for successful projects! The turn out was good... and the teachers seemed to enjoy it. Sharon taught a class on teaching from the heart. She was amazing. Very real life... Mmmm...

Alright... now I will let pictures take over. This typing thing is hard work... Here's the latest and greatest (brought to you by my new digital camera):

Cappucino brought to you by the lovely Marguerites.
Mmmm... this is where Ryan and I like to spend our after-class time.

Self-portrait. Soooo pretty.

100 dollars! Hehe... 100NT is only $3.50.

Meet Emma.

Yum... Yoga frappe and pretty faces.

Talk to you later kiddies. Send me emails. xx. -n.
