I do believe this is the first night I'll have spent alone in months and months and... ever. Tomorrow the electronics are going to be mostly turned off. But today I spent the day teaching, meeting, and conversing... so I deserve the mindless distraction that I know I am partaking in. Tsk tsk to me.
In other news... damn Portishead is good! Really that was just a random thought.
So far this evening I have managed to do the following things (because I know Ryan will be curious when he returns). Oh by the way... Ryan's in Hong Kong. He's gone for TWO WHOLE NIGHTS!!! He is the brave man journeying all by his lonesome. Though Hong Kong is said to be a blast, full of Western food and Disneyland (as I already told Alison). Back to my evening. Full of:
- Barely avoiding being run over by a girl driving her scooter whilst answering her cellphone. Gah!
- Watching a tiny toy poodle belonging to a sheshepoopoo (officially one word) hair salon take a piddle on the inside of their fancy glass storefront door. Hilarious little snobby dog.
- Yelled at the television. More specifically, yelled at the participants in Project Runway for freaking out that the serger/overlock machine was unthreaded and had a broken needle. Just change the damn needle, you freaks! Holy Jebuz already.
- Had an after dinner snack consisting of pieces of chocolate bar and scoops of chunky peanut butter. Yep, you heard me. Chunky peanut butter is my god (and Ganesha of course).
Three other things.
1)Ryan and I both bought sketchbooks, pencils, pencil crayons, oil pastels, etc. Me because I wanted to inspire more creativity in my life. Ryan because he got caught up in the whirl of art supply buying. We spent the afternoon (a couple days ago) sitting on the bed together and sketching. Lovely lovely.
2)My birthday is coming soon. September 17th suckazzz! Mark it in your calendars. Um... or something. Ah ha haaaaaa. Birthdays are silly. Who really cares, right?
3)I took some photos of Taipei which I will share with you now. I've been asked to do a little "photoblogging" where I will get $15 per photo. But not these ones. These ones are for YOU.

Hope you enjoyed. xx. -n.
