What: 17 minutes seated practice / 15 minutes asana
Focus: Counting “One” to “Eight” (exhalations)
No eight. Lots of one, one, one... Was thinking that perhaps focusing on the exhale creates too much ease and less concentration (it's a theory). We'll see tomorrow when the focus is counting the inhalations. Fatigue was the theme this evening. Though awake, I felt myself subtly doing the "nod forward sleepy thing" (it's official title). Followed sitting with 15 minutes of restorative yoga and ended feeling a little bit more vibrant and awake (a little bit).
Side note: I have somehow gotten a little off track with the weekly focus. I think I did an extra day of something and then took an unexpected day off (shhhh... don't tell anyone). Hopefully I can get myself back on track... or just not worry about it and keep it up.
