Time: 8:22am
What: 15 minutes seated practice
Focus: "Du-sa-ni-ma" (inhalations)

Initial feeling of resistance to the form. Sat with it and (like everything else) the resistance dissolved. Mind was impatient for the next inhale. Was ready with the following syllable waiting for the breath to catch up... As though it were some sort of meditation race with a prize at the finish line. Dear mind: there is no race, no prize, and no finish line - surprise! Thoughts came up about the studio, trades, scrubbing the showers, headache, using the washroom post meditation, planning a holiday, sending an email, meditating longer (when this form is over with... ha ha... hello resistance), practicing more, practicing later today, Punk Rock Yoga, not practicing enough... Oh yes.

Time: 12:20pm
What: 30 minutes asana

Slipping in a little practice during the noon class... Focus on third foundation of mindfulness and practicing that day's PRY sequence.
