Waking to SUNSHINE and headaches (balance is integral)

The sun is shining today. It makes me happier. Though it's a bit of a smoggy sun shining... kind of a yellowie colour. I wonder what the weather will be like? It's been rainy and actually cold (?!) since we got here. This is my last day of doing "nothing" (meaning not working)... I start teaching tomorrow. Just one class though.... that can' be too hard to handle.
We had a full day yesterday. Learning two words in mandarin and actually USING them. Going to many many different restaurants. Food shopping. Our very own IKEA trip. Oh, and good god, I will master this chopsticks thing yet.
I think it will be good. This whole living in Taipei thing. At first I was nervous... but it seems to be a good combination of regular ol' city life and other culture. Though, first thing on my list is to learn how to say numbers. Oh, and possibly getting a hotplate so that we can make our own food as well. But for now, it's all about the kettle! Noodles here we come.

Ryan wrote a blog (which I have yet to read)... so check it out at: www.blog.myspace.com/sum_ninja_sh1t
